Accommodations
Jim Thorpe boasts a number of Bed and Breakfasts as well as the Inn at Jim
Thorpe. The Inn at Jim Thorpe is nicely located near the bottom of the hill and
close to the major attractions. They have a parking lot with a limited number of
spots.
Getting There
Jim Thorpe is easily accessible from the Northeast
Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, just a short drive from the
Lehighton Exit just after the first northbound tunnel. Keep in mind that
parking can be very tight in the town. Make sure you have change for the
meters.

The town of Jim Thorpe was originally known as Mauch Chunk. It was later
renamed to honor the renowned athlete, Jim Thorpe
